Pat Schmidt, age 84 of Clarksville, TN, died on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was born on July 23, 1927 in St. Louis, MO to the late Calvin Blythe Felger and Lois Harper Felger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Aaron Schmidt and one sister Jane Lukes.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. David Handley officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pat was a music educator with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. She was a member of Chi Omega with the University of Nebraska. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church and of the Nashville Symphony.
She is survived by her son, Larry Schmidt (Angie Sholar) of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Terry (Curtis) Workman Boyd of Mayfield, KY; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey (Angie) Scott Cauble of Omaha, NE, Gina Michelle (Shelley)(John) Cauble Hill of Leawood, KS, Shoun Paul Balevre of Louisville, KY, Kimberly Renee Balevre of Clarksville, TN, William (Brad) Workman of Southside, TN, Brittany Workman-Monday, and Murray (Ben) Workman of Clarksville, TN; and ten great-grandchildren, three nieces; Elaine (Darin) Haber, Barbara (Dave) Serby, Annie (Anthony) Medina all of Los Angles, CA. brother in law; Dick Lukes of Los Angles, CA. brother in law Leo (Sylvia) Schmidt of Fullerton, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Aaron Schmidt Scholarship Fund, c/o Austin Peay State University.
