Pasco T. Marcello, “PAT” 88, of Set n Sun Drive, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Ethel (Click) Marcello and the late Gloria (Simonelli) Marcello.
Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Thomas F. and Isabella (Mariano) Marcello.
A pilot and aviation mechanic, Mr Marcello was the owner and operator of P.T. Aero Service at the Hillsgrove Airport until retirement. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. In his retirement, he enjoyed cooking, yard work, going out to lunch, playing the piano and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a sister Marie Schroeder of Cranston, three step-children, Maryann Larson of Cranston, Joseph Caparco of Charlestown and Lilie Caparco of Cranston, several grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews: Audrey Donahue of North Carolina, David Marcello of Maine, Robert Marcello of Massachusetts, Edward Marcello of Cumberland, , Karen Marcello of Scituate, Paul Marcello of Smithfield, Joseph, Thomas and Michael Marcello all of Scituate. He was the brother of the late Carmine Marcello and Domenic F. Marcello.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10am in Holy Apostle Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 north Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
