Taunton – Mary R. (Heher) Parker of Taunton, Massachusetts died April 24, 2012 at Morton Hospital after a brief illness. Mary was born in Taunton to the late John E. and Mary F (Cleary) Heher. A 1936 graduate of Taunton, High School she worked in the Reed and Barton Sales Department and was Medical Records Librarian at Taunton State Hospital before retiring in 1978. She was a life long communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Walter P. Parker, her children, James H and his wife Sandra of Taunton, and Carolyn F. Lazaris of Somerset. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Christopher J. Parker of New York City, Jess Ivanoski and her husband Michael of Easton, Kerry P. Belski and her husband Stephen of Bridgewater, Michael P. Parker of Taunton, James H. Parker of Taunton and her 6 great-grandchildren, Ashley M. Ivanoski, Ryan C. Belski, Kaitlyn G. Ivanoski, Zack M. Ivanoski, Caroline E. Belski, and Abigail K. Belski. She is the sister of John E. Heher of Littleton Colorado and Margaret Sullivan of Hyannis and the late R. Virginia Quigley and Louis C. Heher his surviving wife Mary Lou Heher of Taunton. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s Square, Taunton, MA at 10 AM on Saturday, April 28, 2012., followed by internment at St. Francis Cemetery, Oakland.
