Nora Elizabeth Searle, age 14, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday evening, April 15, 2012, at her Sherborn home. The grace with which she lived with and battled her cancer was admired by all who knew her.
Nora is survived by her parents, Jennifer Reidenbach Searle and Robert A. Searle, her brother, Owen Frederick Searle, maternal grandparents Susan (Collins) and Fred Reidenbach, paternal grandfather Robert Searle and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also the granddaughter of the late Patricia (Nutile) Searle.
Nora attended the Pine Hill School and was in the eighth grade at Dover Sherborn Middle School.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nora’s life with a service of remembrance, thanksgiving and hope on Sunday, April 22nd at 2:00pm at the Pilgrim Church, UCC, 25 South Main Street (Rte. 27), Sherborn. In accordance with Nora's strong sense of style, guests are invited to eschew attire that would be conventional for such an occasion and, instead, feel comfortable wearing bright, joyful colors.
