Fairhaven- Christopher Holtkamp, age 55, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 unexpectedly at Home. He was the beloved husband of Dianne (Ximtaras) Holtkamp of Fairhaven. Survivors include his loving children Erin Dube, Christopher W. Holtkamp, James Matthew Holtkamp. and John Michael Holtkamp all of New Bedford. Chris was the loved grandfather of Aiden Christopher Holtkamp, and Brandon Dube. He is also survived by his siblings Richard Holtkamp Jr. of Miami Beach, FL., Mary Ellen Nilsen of New Bedford, Jennifer Normandeau of Fairhaven, and the late David Michael and Ann Margaret Holtkamp and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Holtkamp was a son of Richard Holtkamp and the late Lenora (Furey) Holtkamp. He was born in New Bedford. Christopher worked as a Registered Master Barber at local barbershops. He was a graduate of Bishop Stang Class of "74". Chris enjoyed Refereeing local Basketball games, watching Cardinals in the World Series, hoping Knicks make it in the Finals, watching every sports championship. He loved golf, landscaping on a nice day and vacations to anywhere tropical. Chris loved his family and above all spending time with his grandson Aiden.
Mr. Holtkamp’s Memorial and Celebration of his Life with his ashes present will be during visiting hours on Saturday March 31, from1-3 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
