Cecilia (Geary) Conley, 71, of Natick, passed away on February 23, 2012 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick C. Conley, former Town Administrator for the Town of Natick, who passed away in 2002 and with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.
Born in Portland, Maine, the daughter of the late Edward J. Geary, Sr. and Josephine (Armstrong) Geary, Cecilia was raised in Portland where she attended school. She went on to study at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing from which she graduated. Cecilia was employed as a registered nurse for 37 years caring for patients at Beth Israel Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Framingham Union Hospital. She was an avid golfer and member of the Woodland Golf Club in Auburndale. The most important part of Cecilia’s life and where she found her greatest happiness was her devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving son, Stephen M. Conley and his wife Kerry of Natick; her cherished grandsons, James and Michael; her dear sisters Frances Robicheaw of Portland, ME and Patricia Carnel of Reno, NV; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward J. Geary, Jr., Theresa McGonagle, and Mary Ellen Geary.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Cecilia’s funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 9:15 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, Natick at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 3-6 PM.
