Alice M. (Lowe) Scafidi age 87 of Salem, NH, die Sunday at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, NH. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Cordelia (Donovan) Lowe.
She was born in Medford, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. She was a resident of Salem for the past 46 years.
Alice retired as a supervisor for Sears/Roebuck in Methuen, MA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salem and was a devote Christian. Alice served in the WAVES for the US Navy, during World War II. She had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed bowling, reading, her cats, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Scafidi and her daughter Maryann Colantonio
She is survived by 5 Sons: Frank & Debra Scafidi, Alfred & Lisa Scafidi, Paul & Elaine Scafidi, James & Anne Scafidi, & John & Donna Scafidi
9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
Memorial calling hours will be held Thursday, October 20th from 3-5 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
