Carmen C. “Chickie” Mormile, age 76, of Canton passed away February 14th. Born in Boston, she was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School and went on to earn her nursing degree. Carmen worked as an LPN for the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Boston before retiring. She enjoyed bowling and in her younger years enjoyed playing softball and karate.
Loving daughter of the late Frances and Carmine Mormile. Sister of Anthony Mormile of Canton and the late James Stano. Also survived by her cat Willie “Whitefeet”. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton Tuesday morning at 10:00. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Carmen loved animals and would want donations in lieu of flowers made in her memory to PETA at www.peta.org. | |||||
