Denise M. Foley, age 66, of Milton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 8. 2026, surrounded by her family after a fierce, courageous battle with cancer. Even to the very end, Denise remained a fighter, facing her illness with unmatched strength, grace, and resilience.
Born and raised as a proud South Boston girl, Denise carried her hometown's spirit, grit, and tight-knit values with her throughout her life. She was well known for her boundless generosity; even while navigating her own difficult health battles, she consistently put others first, always stepping up to help those in need. Her selflessness and loyalty left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Denise is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin Foley, and her devoted son, Connor Foley. She was the loving sister of Elizabeth Paulsen, Bill Paulsen, Leo Paulsen, and Rich Paulsen. She will be deeply missed by her family, neighbors, and lifelong friends.
Arrangements include a one-night viewing for close family and friends to pay their respects on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Casper Funeral & Cremation Services (187 Dorchester St, South Boston, MA 02127).
Additionally, the family invites friends and family to return to Denise's roots for a final celebration of life at Castle Island in South Boston. We will share the exact date and details once they are confirmed.
