Teresita “Tessie” Beamer
September 3, 1939 – July 27, 2026
Teresita “Tessie” Navarro Beamer, 86, passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana on July 27, 2026, after a short illness.
Tessie was born on September 3, 1939, in Pampanga, Philippines, the daughter of Cosme and Esperanza (Munoz) Navarro. She married Ralph Preston Beamer on December 8, 1958, in Manila, Philippines. She resided in the Philippines until she moved to the United States in 1959, where she later obtained her U.S. citizenship. In 1975, they moved to Frankton, Indiana where they raised their family.
Tessie was employed with Sears Department Store as a salesclerk for 21 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended church in Elwood, Indiana.
She is survived by three daughters, Gay (Joseph) VanDerbur of Muncie, Indiana;
Teresa (Rick) Rainey of Alexandria, Indiana; Annie (Craig) Jackson of Mapleton, Utah; a son, Douglas (Ana) Beamer of Pendleton, Indiana; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Linda Garcia, Jesus Navarro and Ben Navarro; and many nieces and nephews.
Tessie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Miguela Falsario and Ricardo Navarro.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, Indiana.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am prior to funeral services.
