Edward Pyne (Eddie) 43 of South Boston, born and raised, unexpectedly passed away on June 30th, 2026. Eddie leaves behind his daughter Natalie R. Pyne and his longtime partner of 27 years Victoria Powell, both of South Boston. He was the son of Susan J. Pyne of Quincy and the late Edward Wienczkowski.
Eddie was part of the laborers local Union 151 where he took pride and joy as a labor Foreman. He made a name for himself through his character and work ethic. He worked tirelessly to give his family the best life he could. Family time was the most important to him. He loved making Sunday dinners, staying home watching movies, family vacations, sporadic weekend getaways and his 4 AM coffee.
Among those who will miss him are his siblings. Big sister Tammy Burrell and husband Jhashawn Burrell. Sisters Kristine Parlon and Stacey Pyne. Brothers Ryan Wienczkowski and Sean Pyne. Longtime best friend Robert Cefalo. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The one who will miss him the most is his beloved dog Angel (lil boochie) who he rescued. Angel was much more than a pet- she was family, his best friend, and the light of his life.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend services at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, Saturday July 11th, from 4:00-6:00 PM. We ask everyone to surround Eddie with lots of beautiful flowers to be sent to Casper Funeral Home.
