Tom Dalton passed away on June 6, 2026. He was truly the best of the best: loving, honest, trustworthy, loyal, and dedicated. He was a wonderful husband, father, grampy, brother, uncle, godfather and friend, and he will be remembered with deep love, affection and admiration by those who knew him.
Back in the day, Tom was an avid surfer who later embraced sailboat racing, becoming a consummate navigator. He conquered his fear of flying by learning to fly small planes, and he loved fishing—both ocean and freshwater—as well as golf and many other outdoor pursuits.
Like his great-grandfather, Tom had a love for woodworking. He built pond yachts and numerous planes, and he also had a lifelong fascination with cars, easily identifying both old and new models. And, being a wine enthusiast, Tom always enjoyed a very good glass of wine.
A graduate of USC, Tom pursued a career as a Certified Public Accountant and maintained long-standing relationships with clients throughout his career.
Tom is deeply missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo.
