William D. Porter, age 36, most recently of Mansfield, passed away comfortably at home, surrounded by his loving and adoring family on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Danielle M. (DeMore) Porter, to whom he was wed on October 19, 2024.

Born in Santa Clarita, California on April 6, 1990, he was a loving son of Annette (Alexander) Porter and the late Bard Porter.

Will grew up in Alabama, was a 2008 graduate of Hoover High School and attended the University of Alabama. A resident of Mansfield since April of 2026, he formerly resided in Pompano Beach, Florida, in Colorado and was ever-so-proud of his job as a District Sales Representative for CBI-Cheney Brothers, Inc.

Time spent amongst family and friends was always of the upmost importance to Will. He enjoyed hiking, biking, cooking, the beach and being the biggest fan of Alabama Sports “Roll Tide.” Will was passionate about working out and lifting weights. He was a specialty beer connoisseur, had the biggest sweet tooth in the world for ice cream and will always be remembered for the special place in his heart and devotion for his cat “Chester.”

In addition to his wife and mother, he was the dear brother of Paulina Beaton and her husband Alex of Colorado. He was the cherished uncle of Allan Beaton and Caroline Beaton. He
was the much-loved son-in-law of Andrew and Maureen DeMore. He was the devoted brother-in-law of Matt DeMore and his wife Jacqueline and Nick DeMore and his girlfriend Jenna. He is also survived by his wife Danielle’s Godparents John and Joy Williams, as well as his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

A service in celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
