Chad Allan Oshier, 47, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly following a heart attack at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis on June 12, 2026.
He was born on February 14, 1979 in Anderson, the son of William Oshier and Paula Rider. He was a 1997 graduate of Highland High School.
He was employed as an IT Consultant with Proactive Networking.
Chad enjoyed being with his family and attending any activities they were involved with just to have the opportunity to be with them.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christina Michelle (Alder) Oshier of Middletown; his parents, Paula Rider of Anderson and William Oshier of Tennessee; three children Jeffrey Oshier of Anderson, Kya Oshier of Middletown, and Arya Oshier of Middletown; six siblings Lee (Stephanie) Oshier of Yorktown, Billy Oshier of Anderson, Karen Ebbert of Anderson, Eric (Jara) Southerland of Anderson, Shaun (Danielle) Southerland of Anderson and Jamie (Josh) Shepherd of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from Noon- 3 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
