In Loving Memory of Diana Williams Criger
July 3, 1949 – May 31, 2026
With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Diana Williams Criger, who entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diana was born on July 3, 1949, and lived a life defined by faith, service, kindness, and love. She touched countless lives through her warm spirit, generous heart, and unwavering positivity. No matter the circumstance, Diana had a remarkable ability to find joy, inspire hope, and make those around her feel valued and loved.
For 43 years, Diana dedicated her career to serving at the Naval Base in Port Hueneme, where she built a respected and distinguished legacy through her hard work, professionalism, and commitment. Her colleagues knew her not only for her dedication but also for the kindness and encouragement she freely shared with everyone she met.
Outside of her career, Diana's greatest joy came from serving others. A devoted member of the United Methodist Church in Ojai, California, she faithfully volunteered her time and talents wherever needed. Whether helping with church activities, supporting members of the congregation, or lending a hand to those in need, Diana lived her faith through action.
Diana was also wonderfully creative and found great happiness in crafting. She had a gift for turning simple materials into beautiful creations, often sharing her talents with family, friends, and her community. Her creativity reflected the beauty she saw in the world and her desire to bring happiness to others.
Above all else, Diana was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend. She was the heart of her family—always offering encouragement, wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love. Her son, David Williams, and her beloved grandchildren were among her greatest blessings and the source of immense pride and joy throughout her life.
Though her family mourns her passing, they take comfort in knowing that Diana is now free from pain and illness and has returned home to be with Christ. Her faith sustained her throughout her life, and she now rests in eternal peace.
Diana leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, generosity, and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A service in her honor will be held Saturday, June 27 at 11 am at the United Methodist Church, 120 Church Road, Ojai CA. Following the service, please join us for a potluck celebration of life at the Senior Nutrition Center (Help of Ojai), 270 Baldwin Road, Ojai CA.
