Edgard Antonio Lossio (Toni) passed away on May 20th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Toni was born in Lima, Peru on August 9th, 1965. He was raised in a close-knit family with his mother and sisters, and had a large extended family with whom he continued to remain in touch after immigrating to the US in the late 1980’s. Toni lived in Virginia before relocating to Boston in his early 20’s. There, he worked at the Harvard Club of Boston where he met his wife, JoAnn. Together they raised two daughters and settled in Medford, MA, where they have lived for the last 30 years.
Toni spent years working as an architectural printer in downtown Boston, worked alongside his mentor and close friend Felice Fabrizio on various construction projects and in later years was a stay at home parent. Toni was a passionate soccer player and member of the Atomic Soccer League for 25 years. His lifelong love of the sport not only allowed him to play well into his 50’s, but also gave him opportunities to coach for youth club teams in Medford and the Boston area. He was a dear friend to so many in his community and loved sharing his culture with those close to him.
He was the loving husband of JoAnn (Riley) Lossio; loving father of Suzanna Lossio and her partner Maddie Knorr and Jenna Lossio-Coakley and her husband John Coakley; brother to Nancy Lossio, Veronica Lossio Sosa, and brother-in-law to Chris Riley and Luis Sosa. He was the beloved son of the late Isabel (Baltadano) Ramos and Edgard Lossio Sr. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, loving lifelong friends and three cats.
