Rosalind (Engelhart) Lockowitz passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was 77. Raised in the Bronx, Rosalind was a longtime resident of Elmwood Park, New Jersey until settling in Medford 7 years ago.

The beloved wife of Jules Lockowitz, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, she was a loving mother to Rory Lockowitz and his long- time girlfriend Christina Efstathiou. Rosalind was also a loving grandmother to Mason.

Rosalind was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A kind and generous woman, she was very happy caring for her family. Rosalind looked forward to preparing and sharing meals for those she loved. She and Jules enjoyed going out to eat, always finding their way to a Chinese or Italian restaurant. Although she enjoyed the simple things in life, she could always be found in a leopard jacket or under a leopard blanket. Anyone who knew her knows she loved to shop and also loved her pets, especially her cat Chrissy. Forever young at heart and deeply devoted to her family, she made sure that the love of her life, Jules, was ok.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit Sunday, May 10th at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 2 - 4 PM concluding with a funeral service at 4 PM.
