Obituary

Robert "AJ" Greeley, born on November 15, 1952, in South Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Fall River, Massachusetts. He was 73 years old.

Robert proudly served his country as a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard. His dedication to service exemplified his commitment to his community and nation. Following his time in the Guard, Robert worked for many years at Victor Coffee, where he became a familiar and respected presence until the company’s closing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen Lussier; his son, James Greeley; his sister, Dianne Horne & her husband Edward of South Boston; and his brothers, Stanley Greeley Jr. & his wife Virginia of Baldwinville and Paul Greeley & his wife Kim of South Boston. Robert had many nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews, he also had a handful of great-great nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Jeanette and Stanley Greeley Sr., who undoubtedly shaped the man he became.

Robert's life was one of quiet dedication and hard work. Those who knew him will remember him fondly for the steadfastness and loyalty he brought to every aspect of his life.

May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn him. A Memorial Mass will be held on May 3, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St Monica's Church 331 Old Colony Ave, South Boston
