Leo T McCarthy age 88 of South Boston passed away after a brief illness on April 10, 2026, at Regalcare Nursing at Taunton. Leo was born in Boston, raised and educated in South Boston. For most of his life, Leo resided in South Boston. Leo enjoyed gatherings with close friends and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Claire Long (his twin), Frances Mansfield and his brother Paul McCarthy. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Casper Funeral Home in South Boston. A private interment ceremony will be held at the Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline, MA on Friday, April 17 at 11:00.
