Lynne A. Haskins, age 71, of Norton, formerly of Rumford, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce K. Stanz, to whom she was wed for fifteen years at the time of his death on February 16, 2021.
Born in Brockton, MA on January 14, 1955, she was a loving daughter of Malcom H. Haskins of Norton and the late June A. (Wentzell) Haskins.
Lynne grew up in her hometown of Norton and was a graduate of the Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, Maine. She received her certification as a Pharmacy Technician and along with her family, operated the former Haskins Pharmacy, a landmark on West Main Street in Norton for many years.
Lynne formerly resided in Rumford, Rhode Island, where she was an active member of the Newman Congregational Church. She especially loved spending time with family and friends and was very talented in her favorite hobbies of crafts and knitting.
In addition to her father, she was the dear sister of Mark D. Haskins of Upton and Melanie E. Haskins and her husband Jim Stewart of Easton. She was the devoted mother of Amie Hunter and her husband Brian of Waterville, Maine, Lisa Scott and her husband Jay of Waterville, Maine and the cherished grandmother of Logan and Owen Williams and Cade and Tate Scott. She was the much-loved aunt of Joshua Stewart of Easton, Zachary Stewart of Easton and is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service, in celebration of her life, will be held at a later date and time to be announced at the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Norton.
