
Laura Rosa Laureano (72), of Brockton, passed away on March 23rd at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Miguel Angel Lopez of Brockton.
Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Mario Laureano and Juana Sigonte. Laura was a devoted communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed cookouts, summertime, and spending time with her children and extended family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Jose M. Lopez Laureano and his wife Deborah, and Daniel Lopez Laureano; her daughter, Madeline Lopez Laureano; her three brothers, Mariano Laureano and his wife Milagros Torres, Juan A. Laureano, and William Laureano and his wife Nancy Vazquez; and her two sisters, Juana M. Laureano and her husband Adrian Negron, and Lydia Laureano and her husband Juan Ortiz. She was the sister of the late Efrain Laureano and Elba Iris Laureano.
She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Priscilla Iris Lopez, Tatiana Lopez, Carla Yerro, Keyla Yerro, Leilanie Alize Lopez, and Albin Diaz; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Emanuel Rodriguez and Rafael M. Lopez; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Sunday, March 29th from 4:00–7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 30th at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, 335 Main Street, Brockton, at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton.
