Cynthia G. (Tutela) Breen
3/19/2026

Cynthia G. Breen (Tutela) of Billerica passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Breen. Born in Boston, Cynthia was the cherished daughter of the late Domenic and Elisa (Delorfano) Tutela.

Prior to her retirement, Cynthia was employed as a paralegal at Sullivan & Worcester, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. A woman of deep and abiding faith, Cynthia was devoted to the Catholic Church, which guided her life and values.

Cyndie lived a life marked by quiet generosity with a true servant’s heart, always seeking ways to care for others in both small and meaningful ways. Through her devoted work with Golden Threads Ministry, she lovingly knitted items that brought warmth and comfort to those in need. As a faithful member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, she served her community with compassion, offering support and dignity to individuals and families facing hardship. She also shared her gifts for over a decade at the Pregnancy Care Center in Haverhill, providing administrative and event support. Her legacy is one of selfless love, woven into the lives of all she touched.

Above all, Cynthia will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family. She was an amazing cook who brought everyone together around her table, and her infectious laugh could light up any room. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, cared for, and at home.

Cynthia was the devoted mother of Eric Faulkner and his wife Alyssa, and Craig Faulkner, both of Lowell, and Melissa Hood and her husband Erik of Billerica. She was the adored Nana of Bettie Nolan, Lily and Tyler Faulkner, Elisa DeChane and Justin, Erik, Olivia, and Brady Hood. She was the loving great-grandmother of Olive Nolan, Miana and Giovanni Maric, Nevaeh and Stella Faulkner, Cora DeChane, and Cameron Hood. She was the dear sister of the late Donald Tutela.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Tuesday, March 24, from 4–7 PM and again on Wednesday, March 25, at 9 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading, at 10:30 AM.
