John H. Jacobs, Jr., longtime resident of Pelham, NH, and living in Londonderry, NH for the past five years, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, after a long illness. He was the loving husband of Paulette (Ladouceur) Jacobs, formerly of Manchester, NH. He is predeceased by his parents, John Jacobs, Sr. and Beatrice (Baker) Jacobs. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Twardosky, wife of Jason Twardosky & Sarah Beth Smith, wife of James Smith, both of Londonderry, NH. His treasure was his 5 grandchildren, Courtney Dee Morse, Stacey Balletto, and Dylan Dee, Payton Rylie and Noah Michael Smith and great granddaughter Dakota Rose Balletto.
Mr. Jacobs was a distinguished engineer who worked for the Boston consulting firm of Camp, Dresser and McKee for many years, managing the HVAC Dept. In that capacity Mr. Jacobs travelled extensively in the Middle East, Europe, and throughout the United States and received many awards and commendations for innovative and groundbreaking work.
John was a real patriot who loved his country and supported our men in uniform. He was a member of the local American Legion 0100. Mr. Jacobs and his wife have been parishioners of St. Patrick church in Pelham, NH since 1975. They would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary next October.
There will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will take place February 28, 2026 at 11:00 o’clock at St. Patrick Church in Pelham, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family.
