Donna Mattison, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday
February 15, 2026. Gone too soon. Donna was born in Fitchburg, MA on December 11,
1955, a daughter of Bernard and Brenda (Garvey) Magane.
She is survived by her loving sister Sheila Daly and her husband Rich of Salisbury, MA,
niece, Katelyn Daly and her husband Nick Natale, nephew, Shawn Daly, her longtime
companion, Richard Tripp of Derry, Dana Theokas and her husband Seth of Chester,
NH, and four grandchildren, Oriana, Esai, Nolan & Sebastian. She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Magane.
Donna dedicated her life to others working as a social worker serving families in medical
planning. Her career spanned decades when she helped many families navigate
through difficult times. In retirement she returned to her first passion supporting children
with special needs. She will be missed by many and remembered in love by all.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday February 21, 2026, from 2 – 4pm at the Peabody
Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers please donate
to a local animal shelter of your choice.
