John M. Flammia, 76
Dateline: North Attleboro, MA John M. Flammia, age 76, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 16, 2026 at the VA Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Taunton, MA on August 22, 1949, he was a loving son of the late Albert P. and Wilma A. (Smith) Flammia. A resident of Mansfield for most of his life, John grew up in town and was a 1967 graduate of Mansfield High School. During the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and was honorably discharge from active duty on July 15,1971. A carpenter by trade, John worked with independent contractors throughout the years and was also the former owner of the Foxfield Framing Corp. He was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a longtime avid golfer and received much pleasure attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and performances. John’s family would especially like to thank his special friends Joe Cutillo and Mike Pernock for their friendship, kindness and continued support for many years. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Gina Consalvo and her husband Greg of North Attleboro and Carrie Ciccarelli of Mansfield. He was the cherished and proud grandfather of Joseph Consalvo, Gianna Consalvo, Celia Ciccarelli and Dylan Ciccarelli. He was the dear brother of Karen Weik and her husband Jay of Toledo, Ohio, Lisa Flammia and her life partner Rick Lovell of Dennis and the cherished uncle of Matthew Fleming and Isabella Weik. His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, February 25th at 11:00 at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield. Burial, accompanied by military honors, will follow at Saint Mary’s Cmetery in Mansfield. Visitation will be held prior to the services on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
