OSTBERG, Thomas Ernest (77) of West Roxbury, MA died peacefully on December 30, 2025. He was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1948 to Ernest and Emily Ostberg. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Tom taught high school in Pittsburgh prior to moving to Massachusetts where he spent the rest of his career in energy efficiency. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lynn, and his sister and her husband, Carol and Grant Orris of Bradford, PA. He is also survived by Lynn’s large family, her 5 siblings, their spouses, many nieces, nephews and their children. Tom loved driving his sports car around New England, visiting friends and family with his wife, going to Red Sox games (rain or shine) and following the Patriots. Each fall he went to a local apple orchard where he bought a bushel of his favorite macoun apples and cider donuts. That was one of his last outings.
