Lucille Ann “LuAnn” DiBlasio, 72, of Brockton, MA, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Louis M. DiBlasio, Sr., and Mary Virginia (LoStrappo) DiBlasio.
LuAnn was born May 30, 1953, in Quincy, MA, in the back seat of a taxi. LuAnn loved her Italian heritage and is the granddaughter of Italian immigrants who came to the United States in the early 1900’s. Her father Louis served during WWII and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with three Oak Leaf Clusters. Her mother Mary worked as a welder at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, MA, to help with the war effort.
LuAnn attended the Brockton school system and graduated from Brockton High School. LuAnn worked at Road to Responsibility in Avon and Braintree. LuAnn enjoyed all genres of music, especially Elvis Presley. LuAnn also enjoyed dancing, playing solitaire, going out to eat, and watching tv.
LuAnn is survived by 3 sisters, Debra J. Caggiano and Regina D. DiBlasio, both of East Bridgewater, Theresa M. Tringalli of Buzzards Bay; and 3 brothers, Nicholas J. DiBlasio of East Wareham, Joseph R. DiBlasio and Michael L. DiBlasio, both of Taunton, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. LuAnn is predeceased by one sister, Donna Marie DiBlasio, and two brothers, Richard J. DiBlasio and Louis M. DiBlasio, Jr., and her brother-in-law David Tringalli.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court St., Brockton, MA, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. Parking is in the rear of the building.
Funeral Service from the funeral home on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass immediately following at 10:30 a.m. in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, MA. Burial immediately following the Funeral Mass in the family lot in Blue Hills Cemetery, 700 West St., Braintree, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home in LuAnn’s name to defray the cost of the funeral and burial. Thank you.
