King, Leland E. “Bud” Lifelong resident of Needham, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 2, 2026. Beloved husband of Carol “Karen” (Bray) King. Devoted father of William King of New Hampshire and Zachary King of Rhode Island. Loving grandfather of Liam, Ryan, Finn and Loie. Brother of Russel King, June McCue, and Richard King all of Florida and Maureen Cutler of Framingham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bud was a longtime employee of Calvert’s Department Store in Needham. Bud loved gardening, tennis, golf, Needham 4th of July events and spending time with the people he loved.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Thursday, January 8, from 9-10:30am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 11am.
