ROACHE Joseph F. “Joe” Longtime resident of Roslindale, originally of Roxbury, passed away on December 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Theresa M. (O’Keefe) Roache. Devoted father of Nancy Feeley and her late husband Paul of Melrose, Patricia Roache of Wakefield, Carol Laurino and her husband Paul of Dedham, and the late Joseph Roache. Loving Papa of Alison, Jenifer, Charlene, Mathew, Alec, and Connor. Dear brother of Ellen McMurtery, John Roache, and the late Elizabeth Roache and Patricia Wixon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Papa had many hobbies including biking, caring for his garden, documenting his life through photography, bowling, and feeding neighborhood squirrels and birds. He was honest with his words and curious to know more about everyone he encountered. He always had his beloved cat Alycat by his side.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, January 6th from 3-7pm. A Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7th at 12 noon. Interment private.
