Obituary

Ever Roy Martin, age 86, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1939, in Manchester, Newport, Jamaica, to Stanley and Ivy (née Daley) Martin—a homeland he loved and proudly carried with him throughout his life. After completing school in Newport, Ever migrated to Kingston, Jamaica, and later to the United States, settling in Brockton, Massachusetts, where he raised his family and built a lasting legacy.

Ever was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, mentor, and companion. Kind, joyful, and generous, he found his greatest happiness in family. A skilled carpenter and owner of Forever Construction Incorporated, he took pride in his work and in mentoring young men. Raised in the Christian faith, Ever loved God and spoke often of his faith. His family finds comfort knowing he is now at rest in the presence of the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ivy Martin; his son Carlton; and siblings, John, Claude, Ronald, and Aldith, and granddaughter Sadika. Ever is survived by his loving children: Neville, Pamella, Patricia, Fitzroy, Patsy, Clover, Ann, and Marie, and grandchildren: Kamar, Reylando, Yanica, Casieve, Jermane, Tremeda, Carly, Mazan, Tiffany, Shaniqua, Maiya, Johlon, Makayla, Mackenzie, and Evan. His siblings: Millicent, Daphne, Lynford and wife Jennefer, Kenneth, Hildred, Maurice, Junior and wife Anne-Marie, Curtis, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout the US and Jamaica.

Visitation will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton Saturday January 10th from 11 am to 1 pm.

Ever Roy Martin will be laid to rest in Jamaica, the land he was proud to call his first home.
