Rita F. (Blais) Ford, age 83, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Stephen E. Ford. The couple had been together for the past forty-three years.
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on December 29, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Belliveau) Blais.
Rita grew up and was educated in Bellingham. She had made her home in Norton for over twenty-five years and prior to retiring, had been employed in the jewelry industry.
Rita loved spending time amongst family and especially, along with her husband Steve, enjoyed time spent in New Hampshire, their favorite point of destination always being the cabin in Pittsburg. Her other interests included crafting, gardening and cooking.
Services, along with burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
