Maria Cristina Cruz Da Silva Andrade, 44, of Georgetown (formerly of Taunton) passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2025, in Taunton. She was the loving wife of Jose Da Silva Andrade Junior of Georgetown.
Maria was born in Stoughton, the daughter of Asdrubal Cruz (of Puerto Rico) and Maria Bejarano (of Peabody). She worked at the Amazon distribution center and was active with the Portuguese Veterans Club in Peabody. Maria enjoyed dining out, camping, going to lakes, and socializing — she was known for her warm spirit and huge smile that lit up every room she entered.
She is survived by her husband Jose Da Silva Andrade Junior; her daughter, Natalia Douglas of Florida; her parents, Asdrubal Cruz and Maria Bejarano; three brothers, Asdrubal, Jose and Carlos Cruz; her grandmother Delia Anderson; five aunts — Victoria Cruz, Mirtha Sanchez, Angela Godinez, Wanda Cruz and Maria Diaz; her uncle Jose Bejarano; many nieces, nephews and extended family, including Veronica Cruz and Nancy Sanchez.
Visitation will be held at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, MA on Sunday, December 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
