Faith M Martin, 79, of Norton, MA passed away at home on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025.
Faith Marie Martin of Norton was born April 9, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Marshall B. Martin Jr. and Riga M. (Henson) Martin. Sister to the late Marilyn I. (Martin) Crane. She is survived by her brother Marshall B. Martin III, Susan Martin of Norton, their children Marshall B. Martin IV, Jith Malivarn of Canton, Jessica D. Martin of Denver, CO, sister to Patience M. Epstein, Kenneth Epstein of Wayland, their children James M. Epstein, Greer Simpkins Epstein, grandniece Ginevra J. Epstein of Boston, Arielle Hersh and Greg Hersh of Arlington. Also, her cats Sweetie and Silky.
Faith was a graduate of the Norton Public Schools, received a B.S. from Lowell State College and a M.Ed. from Boston University. She taught music in Norton, Bellingham and Amsbury, as well as being a media specialist. Faith’s talents went well beyond music. She was an accomplished painter, photographer and a soft sculpture artist, exhibiting in local craft shows and co-ops.
Faith’s happiest moments were spending time with family and friends. Faith had a deep love of the outdoors, especially Arcadia National Park where she photographed the night skies with her many friends. She was an outgoing, kind, generous person and young at heart. Faith will be deeply missed be by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nine Lives of Norton Feline Rescue Shelter or a charity of your choice.
