David Allen Gwaltney

David Allen Gwaltney, 48, of Anderson, passed away on November 14, 2025 in Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on January 3, 1977 in Anderson, the son of Roy Wayne and Sue (Larimore) Gwaltney.
David held a bachelors degree in Automated Industrial Engineering Technology and received a top honor student award from ITT Technical Institute in March 2008. He also had an associates degree in Applied Science in Computers and Electrical Engineering Technology, ITT Technical Institute September 2005. He was a graduate of Madison Grant High School.
David was employed as a Senior Technologist with Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw. He enjoyed reading (Science Fiction and Non-fiction Study), online farm gaming, hiking, camping and trucks.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Gwaltney; brother Greg (Chris Lauckner) Gwaltney; sister, Carol Denise Mitchell; niece, Jennifer Hughes; special cousin, Mary Dhabuwala; several cousins and his dear pets Bentley and Lucy.
David was preceded in death by his father, Roy Wayne Gwaltney; brother, Larry Gwaltney; grandparents James and Margaret (Maggie) Gwaltney and Marion and Ruth Larimore; brother-in- law, Bill Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Chris Lauckner, M Div.
Visitation with the family will preceded the service from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the animal care facility of the donor’s choice.
