Jose Antonio Moreira, 60, of Brockton, passed away on November 1st at Boston Medical Center.
Born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde, he was the son of Maria Lopes Da Moura and the late Domingos Moreira. Jose worked as a truck driver and took great pride in his work. He was known for his dedication to his family and for always being there to support and care for them.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sons: Junior Moreira, Hironildon Moreira, Anderson Moreira, and Kevin Moreira; his life partner, Marcelina Duarte; many brothers and sisters; and five grandchildren: Alenna, Lohan, Kylleie, Kyvon, and Alexander.
Visitation will be held at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Saturday, November 15th from 5–8 p.m.
Funeral services and burial will take place in his home country of Cabo Verde.
