Richard M. “Richie” Haddad (Ret. BPD) age 86 of Roslindale, passed away on October 27, 2025. Beloved father of Christine Dirany of East Walpole, Eileen Clarkson and her husband Steven of Athol, Eric Haddad and his wife Patricia of Barre, Richard Haddad and his wife Melissa of Hubbardston. Dear brother of Barbara Zizzo of Andover, Eleanor Benevides of Hanover, the late Dorothy Kaplan, and Joseph Haddad. Loving grandfather of Faith Hunt, Noah, Matthew, the late Seth Clarkson, Jeremy, Aaron, Bailey, Aidan, Kathleen, and Lauren Haddad. Also survived by 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Richie was born in Boston and lived there his entire life. During high school, he worked at Eastern Cellophane and in 1969 he entered the Police Academy. He became a Boston Police Officer and retired after 31 years of service. Richie was longtime member of the Boston Police Association. Richie enjoyed watching old movies, listening to 50’s music, and taking trips to the casino.

Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Monday, November 3rd from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 12:30pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richie may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
