Ruth A. Bolton

Ruth A. (Tyler) Bolton, 86, of Anderson passed away on September 26, 2025 at her home following an extended illness.
She was born on August 1, 1939 in Anderson, IN to Virgil and Emma (Worley) Tyler. She graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1957 and went on to earn an associate’s degree.
She worked civil service at Fort Benjamin Harrison for 34 years. She owned and operated the Tea Cart on Broadway in Anderson.
She attended St. Matthew United Methodist Church. She sang with the Sweet Adeline’s. She always had a song for everything. She enjoyed going out to the casino, traveling especially going on cruises, reading and animals.
She is survived by her three children, Celeste Auler of Anderson, Bryan Bolton of Anderson, and Chris (Dianne) Bolton of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Sarah Allen of Anderson, Ashley (Russell) Wimberley of Anderson, Justin Bolton of Anderson, and Samantha Divine of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine great-grandchildren, Sommer, Sierrah, Shayleigh, Gavyn, Ashton, Weston, Madison, Cadence, and Samuel; three great-great grandchildren, Hazel May, Oaklynn, and Ellianna; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Derrick Auler; five siblings, Doris Jenks, Bill Tyler, Merlin Tyler, Marilyn Tyler, and David Tyler; and a sister-in-law, Violet “Mae” Tyler.

A memorial service will be at 7:00pm on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
