Richard L. Joseph, 84, of Mystic, son of the late Charles and Virginia (Bogue) Joseph passed away Saturday, September 20th at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
A 1959 graduate of Fitch High School, Richard worked as a Body Shop Foreman at Brustolons in Mystic for 19 years and then worked as a Millwright at Pfizer in Groton until his retirement.
Richard is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Gwen Joseph, his step-daughter Michelle Edwards and step-granddaughter, Payton Edwards. Also surviving is his former wife, Beverly Morrone and their children, Richard Joseph, James Joseph (Stewart) and Karen Wilson (David). He also leaves his grandchildren, Chase Rowe (Diane), Joshua Joseph, Bailey Joseph, Nicholas Wilson, Katelyn Wilson and Brayton Wilson. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 2nd at Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Visiting Nurses Association, 403 N.
