Joseph Dessalines Dorival (54) of Brockton died September 17th unexpectedly at home.
He was born in Torbeck, Haiti, the son of Marie (Claude) Dorival of Haiti and the late Gaston Dorival. Joseph was an automotive mechanic by trade and enjoyed socializing with his family and friends, he was also known as a caring person.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, John D. Dorival of New York and Youri D. Dorival of Haiti, his brother Gassendy Dorival of Haiti, two sisters, Nadege Dorival of New York and Garonne Dorival of Haiti, and two grandchildren, Karim and Kamaya.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton, Friday October 3rd from 6-8 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home, Saturday October 4th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 54 Lyman Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
