Manuel Da Silva Pires (78) of Brockton died August 28th in the Champion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
He was born in Cova Matinho, Fogo, Cabo Verde, the son of the late Carlos Pires and Rita Da Silva Pires. Manuel worked for a mattress company and enjoyed watching the Portuguese Channel.
Manuel is survived by 2 sisters, Adelina Montrod and Antonia Montrod, 3 brothers, Joao Da Silva Pires, Januario Pires, and Fransico Pires, his caretakers and best friends, Teodolina Valle and Maria Vieira, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton, Wednesday September 3rd at 9 am. Followed by Funeral Services at 11 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
