Obituary

Michael Edmund Gram, 73, of Ventura, California, passed away on July 5th in Oxnard,
California. Mike was born in Pasadena, California, to Booth and Lily Gram on April 28, 1952.
He attended Birmingham High School and graduated in 1970. He went on to earn a degree from
California State University, Los Angeles, and graduated in 1975. He worked in radiology in
several hospitals around Ventura County and taught radiology. He enjoyed being outside,
working on projects of interest, repairing and inventing(one which he received a US patent for),
and boating. More recently he was involved in all things sailing and served on the Anacapa
Yacht Club Board of Directors. He participated in the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults
(OCIA) and received Sacraments on Easter this year.
Mike is survived by his wife, Angie Frausto-Gram, and daughters Maddi, Molly, and
Mackenzie. In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Anacapa Yacht Club. The
family wishes to extend their gratitude to the OCIA 2025 group and Anacapa Yacht Club. He
was truly loved and will remain in our memories. He is now in God’s arms, with his inquisitive
nature getting clear answers. Rest in peace.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Ventura on August 14,
2025 at 1:00 pm with Fr Leon Hutton of St John’s Seminary, Camarillo officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
