LEVITT - Judy, age 70, recently of Webster, formerly of Brighton, Brookline, Quincy, East Bridgewater, Framingham, and Ashland, died Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Webster Manor in Webster, MA.
Judy was born in Brighton, MA, and moved to Brookline, MA as a child. Judy was a graduate of Brookline High School, enjoyed playing softball, then coaching, umpiring, and refereeing women’s sports. As part of Judy’s competitive nature, she also enjoyed teaching and playing board games. As part of her nurturing nature, she very much enjoyed helping people. Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Eaniss (Giampietro) Levitt. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Levitt of Marlborough, and was a dear sister to the late Linda Lewis of Framingham, David Levitt of Nashua, NH, Cheryl Gentile of Newton, Sandra Clark of Northborough, Andrew Levitt of Brookline, and Richard Levitt. Judy adored her nieces and nephews, and they, in turn, adored her back and loved having an aunt who did all the things with them that most adults, including their parents, weren’t interested in doing. She was the beloved aunt of Michelle Levitt Moore, Adam Lewis, Jason Lewis, Christopher Clark, Kimberly Belmont, Ryan Clark, Mia McPhee, and the late Dana Levitt. Judy was the special friend of the late Barbara Prifty and Barbara’s family. The Levitt family is especially grateful to Fred and RuthAnn Prifty who kindly looked after Judy after their sister’s passing. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower Street, Jamaica Plain on Friday, July 25th at 11:00 am. Interment following at Mount Hope Cemetery, Boston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. |
