Sharon Kathleen Wheeler of Ventura, CA, passed away on June 28, 2025 in Moorpark, CA. Sharon was born in Los Angeles, CA to Edward and Carolyn Malone. She graduated from Whittier Union High School and Mt. San Antonio Junior College. She worked in various administrative roles, including serving as a Supervisory Senior Administrative Clerk for the Ventura Police Department and as a dispatcher for the California Highway Patrol. She culminated her career working as an Administrative Officer supporting the Threat/Targets Department at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at Point Mugu, CA. She retired in 2002.
Sharon loved the Lord and helping others. She enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Being the daughter of an Army lieutenant colonel and the sister of an Army major, the military was near and dear to her heart; she supported and loved our military.
She is survived by her husband, David Wheeler, her sister, Toni Malone, and Tim and Rosalie Sommer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, MAJ Lawrence M. Malone.

Family and friends are invited to Funeral services to be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura. Reflection/visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, with Chapel Service beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
