Lula Mae Kratzer

Lula Mae (Roach) Kratzer, 83, of Anderson died May 24, 2025 at Primrose Memory Care.
She was born July 19, 1941 in Willis Bottom, Tennessee the daughter of Samuel "Feldman" and Elizabeth (Spears) Roach. She worked as a designer for Ball Stores for several years and for Gill Brothers. She attended Chesterfield Community Church of God in Chesterfield. Lula enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, and loved to attend Jazz concerts especially to hear her husband play the saxophone, clarinet and many other instruments. She loved her pets and supported the Animal Protection League.
Lula is survived by her two sisters, Regina Nobblitt of Fries, Virginia and Shirly Britton of New Castle; her nephew, Tim Roach; and two nieces, Julie Bilz of Columbus, and Rebecca Thatcher of Avon.
Lula was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel E. "Lou" Kratzer; her parents; sister, Elise Shinn and two brothers, William and Terry Roach.
As per her wishes, no service will be held.
