SPRINGFIELD – Maryanne Helen (Maciolek) Isham, 81, of the Pine Point section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Friday, May 2, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life at her home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, Connecticut on November 11, 1943, a beloved daughter of the late Louis and Katherine (Serega) Maciolek. She was raised in Thompsonville where she graduated from Our Lady of the Angels Academy. She was the longtime Director of Religious Education at the former Saint Mary Church, now, Mary, Mother of Hope Church in East Springfield and retired in 2006. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens and found great joy in hosting family events at her home where she would cook and bake for everyone. She leaves her beloved husband, Walter W. Isham, Jr. They were married on May 12, 1962 at Saint Adalbert Church in Thompsonville and were blessed with over 62 years of happiness together. She also leaves her three loving and devoted children, Scott M. Isham and his wife, Kathleen and their children, Dina and Javier Isham, all of Southbury, CT, Lisa A. Bourdo and her companion, Joseph Caputo, of Indian Orchard, and Karen A. Cardin and her husband, Edward, of Granby; her daughter-in-law, Roxanne M. Levesque-Isham and her son, Zachary Isham, both of Chicopee; Kristen Isham and her fiancé, Matthew Guenette and their children, Haley, Morgan, and Hayden, all of Holyoke; Brittany Bourdo and her fiancé, Tony Santaniello, and their children, Reese and Rocco, all of Longmeadow, and Chase and Casey Bourdo and their son, Cole, of Derry, NH; her dear sister-in-law, Janet Maciolek of Ellington, CT; longtime family friend, Nikki Krawczyk of Holyoke; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving son, Todd A. Isham who was Called Home on April 22, 2020; her dear brother, Andrew L. Maciolek who was Called Home on July 1, 2018; and her beloved in-laws, Walter W. Isham Sr. and May (Taylor) Isham. Her family would like to thank the staff at Legacy Hospice and Mercy Life PACE for their care and compassion and a very special thank you to Maryanne's caring neighbors for their kindness, compassion, and generosity. Her family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, May 24, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to conclude with a Celebration of Life Service at 3:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre - Phaneuf Springfield Chapels (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107.
