Beatrice Kapreilian
(January 22, 1937)

Beatrice Kapreilian “Bea”, 88, of Sarasota, FL and Falmouth, MA died peacefully in her sleep with her family and all of her grandchildren sharing their love on Wednesday May 14, 2025. She was born in Concord, NH, and was the daughter of Aslan Aslanian and Ankine (Kesegian) Aslanian, both survivors of the Armenian Genocide.

Bea was a 1955 graduate of Concord High School in Concord, NH where she was a member of the honor roll and captain of her basketball and softball teams.

Beatrice started her career as an executive assistant at Raytheon Corporation for senior leaders across numerous locations. After having children, she served as an English language transition aide (ESL) for many years at Lincoln Elliot Elementary School in Newton, while also serving as 4-time President of the Newton Emblem Club, and the St. Sahag-Mesrob Armenian School Board of Directors for 5 years.

Beatrice and her husband ran The Cobbler Shop in Newton Corner, MA for 25 years, which became a community staple and a place where friends and family were indiscernible from one another.

She was active in many church and cultural groups, but she will be most widely remembered by her family and friends for the amazing love she brought to her relationships and the selfless care that she provided to not only her family, but also dozens of neighbors, friends, and strangers in need.

Beatrice was a loving, devoted wife to her husband of 66 years , Samuel C. Kapreilian Jr. She is also survived by her sons Samuel C. Kapreilian III, daughter-in-law Lucine, and Edward Z.
