Ursula Louise Traynor (nee Lazzari), a resident of Westfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025 at the age of 86.
Born in 1938 in Hartford, CT, Ursula was the daughter of Richard and Mary (Pelletier) Lazzari. Ursula was a graduate of William Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. She went on to work
for the state of CT where she met a life long friend who introduced her to her husband Martin. For a time, Ursula resided in Caribou, ME, where Martin served in the US Air Force, and then relocated to Western MA where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was active in her local church, Holy Family Parish in Holyoke. She was a devoted wife for 58 years to her beloved husband Martin (Marty), a loving mother to her daughter, Lisa and a loyal friend. She
will be remembered with love by her family and friends.
Ursula is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and John Day, nephew Peter Traynor and Robert Lee. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin and her parents Richard and
Mary (Pelletier) Lazzari.
A memorial service will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rocky Hill, Connecticut on May 6, 2025 at 11:00AM.
