Wendy (Wilkins) Hardy age 72, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, formerly of Rochester, New York and Yardley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 24th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 46 years to Gerald Hardy. Devoted mother to Jaime Lovejoy Resmini and her husband Eros, of San Francisco, CA, Megan Hardy Dwyer and her husband, John of Needham, MA and Molly Elizabeth Hardy and her husband, Bobby Jezyk of San Jose, CA. “Bella” to grandkids: Lucca, Coda and Aria Resmini of San Francisco, CA, Ada, Lucy and June Dwyer of Needham, MA. Sister to Marlene (Wilkins) Roberts, George Wilkins and Robert Wilkins. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Wendy was born in Rochester, New York on October 30th, 1952 to the late George Lyle Wilkins and Mildred "Mitzi" (Saetta) Wilkins. She graduated from Mercy High School in Rochester, New York, in 1970.
Wendy was outgoing and vibrant, making connections in the many cities she lived in during her lifetime. A natural in creating beautiful spaces, she turned her talent for creating stunning home interiors and upscale holiday decorations into an interior design business in Yardley, Pennsylvania. She was magnetic and known for wearing bright colors, especially pink. She loved spending time in the warmth of the sun and was consistently triumphant in friendly family competitions. Her highest achievement was her family and no joy was greater than being surrounded by them.
