Ronald R. Laham, of Arlington, passed away peacefully at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Wednesday, April 24. He was 87. Raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Raymond P. and Stella (Raffi) Laham.

Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He was the proprietor of Ray’s Exxon Service Station on Alewife Brook Parkway for almost 50 years. Later in life he worked for 10 years for the Middlesex County Sherriff’s Department in Billerica. He had a passion for gardening and cooking, especially his vinegar peppers. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and taking scenic drives.

The beloved husband of Janet (Cavagnaro) Laham, Ronald was the devoted father of Michele Laham Capozzi and her husband Daniel of Stoneham, Raymond Laham and his wife Pam of Stoneham, Ronald Laham of Waltham, Michele Quinlan and her husband Mark of Medford, and Andrew J. Angelo and his wife Kim of Memphis, TN. He was a loving grandfather to Tara Pucci and her husband Kyle of Merrimack, NH, Heather and Megan Laham of Stoneham, and Danielle and Ryan Quinlan of Medford. He was a loving great grandfather to Emilia and Leo Pucci of New Hampshire. Ronald was a dear brother to Judith Calareso and her late husband Donald of Winchester, Janice Black and her husband Richard of Lancaster, James Laham and his wife Patricia of Arizona and Raymond Laham and his wife Beth of Stoneham. Dear brother-in-law of Francis Cavagnaro and his wife Ruthann of Plymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, April 30th from 2 PM – 6 PM, followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 6 PM. Following the service, Ronald’s family extends an invitation to their relatives and friends to join them for a collation that evening at the Woburn Country Club, 5 Country Club Rd, Woburn at 7 PM.
