Eudokia (Sophie) Berkeschtschuk, age 99, of Roslindale Massachusetts passed away at her home on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She was born February 11, 1924 in Kosiv, Ukraine. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jozef Berkeschtschuk. She is survived by her children Alfons (Al) Berketchuk and his wife Roseangela of Plymouth, Maria Deary and her husband Arnold of Carver, Anna Zoffreo of Belmont and her grandchildren Cynthia Ozelis, Brenda Berketchuk, Kevin Phillips, Alexis Zoffreo and Robert Zoffreo. A Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, 146 Forest Hills Street, Jamaica Plain on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend and may visit with her family at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the Funeral Mass and Liturgy. Interment at St. Michaels Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in Sophie’s memory to Christ the King Ukrainian Church 146 Forest Hills St. Jamaica Plain MA. 02130.
